Management of Dental Cavities

- Cavities with loss of enamel only – Only the outermost layer of the tooth is lost and requires a simple tooth-coloured filling.
- Cavities into the dentine – The middle protective layer of the tooth called dentine is infected. This requires a protective layer to be placed before a filling can be done or a crown can be given.
